HGV 2 DRIVER

We have term to perm opportunities for HGV 2 drivers with one of the UK's leading logistics companies based in Bicester.

Salary £41,733 per year

To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 12 months experience and have some experience of temperature-controlled vehicles / chilled food deliveries.

Salary and Shifts

  • Shift pattern. Any 5 days out of 7.
  • Starts 4am-5am.
  • 48 hours per week. Overtime available.
  • £17.00 PH - basic.
  • £23.50 PH - OT
  • Perm salary £41,733 per year + overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Duties include completing deliveries of goods on pallets or cages.
  • Multi drop, approx.15 drops per shift.
  • Unloading using an electric pump truck (EPT) training given.
  • Completing paperwork as required.
  • Heavy lifting / Handball involved.

About you

  • You must hold a HGV 2 or HGV 1 licence, and have a valid CPC and digi card.
  • A competent driver able to pass a theory and practical driving assessment.
  • Have good communication and customer service skills.
  • Be able to pass a theory and practical driving assessment.
  • No more than 6 minor points. No DR, DD, CD, IN10s.
