Are you a commercially minded sales professional with a passion for technical solutions and key account growth?
Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Key Account Manager for their Sales & Service team to take ownership of an established customer base while unlocking new business opportunities across the UK. This hybrid role combines strategic account development, technical field support, and operational oversight of service delivery.
You'll be instrumental in managing high-value customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring service excellence through the leadership of a small engineering team.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and developing key customer and distributor accounts across the UK
- Driving growth across aftermarket services including parts sales, field service, refurbishments, and installations
- Building strong, long-term client relationships to promote loyalty and repeat business
- Developing and delivering territory sales plans aligned with broader business objectives
- Leading service delivery performance - including scheduling, project oversight, and customer satisfaction
- Supporting technical queries and providing quotations for complex installations
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless project management from sale to completion
- Representing the company at trade shows and client meetings as required
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in a technical B2B sales or key account management role
- Background in managing both sales and service delivery (including engineers or field teams)
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills across all levels
- A proactive, "customer-first" approach with strong problem-solving ability
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and flexibly
- Degree-level education in engineering or similar (or equivalent industry experience) preferred
- A willingness to travel across the UK with occasional international trips
