Van driver - upskill to 7.5t
Location: Severn Beach
Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Severn Beach who are looking for van drivers to join them on a long term / temp to perm basis.
Successful applicants will have an opportunity to be trained and gain their 7.5t licence, CPC and tacho card for free!
Shifts and pay rates as a Van Driver :
- Days 07.00am start until finish
- Rota 5 days on 3 days off rolling (requiring only 2 full weekends in an 8 week rotation)
- £11.75 P/H pay
- £14.75 P/H umbrella
- 7.5t drivers permanent pay circa £35,000 + benefits + 30 days annual leave
Your responsibilities as a Van Driver :
- Duties include working with an experienced driver's mate or driver
- 2-man crew delivery
- Unloading goods and delivering to room of choice in customers homes or flats
- Completing paperwork
- Heavy lifting is involved
Van Driver - About you:
- Have a car licence Cat. B. Min 6 months exp
- Have excellent customer service & communication skills
- Be able to work long days as required. We cannot specify what time you will finish
- You will need to have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before you start, we will arrange this
- You must have held your licence a minimum 6 months. No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT's or IN10's
